Reasons to be Thankful

There are a number of things in my life that I am thankful for. My life itself, my family, my friends and all the little things that make me happy. Specifically, there are five things I am most thankful for, education wise. The first thing I am thankful would have to be all the knowledge I have. I realize that not many people are able to catch on as quickly as others. I have learned so much over the years, and I am thankful for the knowledge I have acquired.

The second thing I am thankful for would be having the qualities of a good student. I am blessed to have parents that raised me to be respectful at all times. In having respect comes many other great qualities. I am able to pay attention in class, listen to everything that is being said and taught, and participating in class discussions. This allows me to do very well in school, and receive respect from others as well.

The next thing I am thankful for would have to be being able to attend a physical school. As I touched on earlier, some people are less fortunate which causes them to not get a good quality education. I am thankful that my parents make sure that I am attending a school that would help with my future success, while at the same time helping me in the present. I attend a school where learning is encouraged, and everyday I learn new things whether it’s life or education.

In addition to learning new things, I am blessed and thankful to still be alive to witness the evolution and advancement of the world today. Things happen very quickly in this lifetime that can lead to a life changing experience. The world is changing everyday and each day brings us closer to the end. I am very thankful to be able to notice the changes and compare them to the history that I have learned over the years.

Lastly, I am thankful that I am doing so well in school. I have been able to maintain all A’s since the ninth grade. I am extremely thankful for my support, for the people in my life who push me to keep going and to never give up. I realize that paying attention and scoring well opens the doors of opportunity for the future. This includes getting a high paying job and getting accepted into a good college.

Though I still have a lot to learn in life, I am thankful for where I am now. I’ll never give up as long as I remain focused and aim to be the very best I can be.  My future is very bright, and I’m unspeakably thankful for all things, especially education related.
